20 Turns Seeks Regional Coordinators
I received an email from Lynn at 20Turns. The effort to get the word out is exceeding all expectations thus far and growth is imminent. Currently they are looking for activist to help coordinate efforts within regions. Lynn’s email is here below in its entirety. If any of you wish to participate please contact Lynn via email by writing to info@20turns.com.
Yours in Liberty
Hello,
This message is the first in a series of updates that will be issued to keep key people informed of progress and activities related to the 20 Turns Project.
First of all, we have added the 8 Point Pledge to the website as a free download available to anyone that has a place to post it or people to pass it out to. This pledge is an accurate summary of what the project is all about and when distributed should be sufficient to generate interest among dissatisfied voters. Feel free to use this feature as you wish.
The second topic is organization of regional efforts. It is interesting to note that slightly more than 70% of all Americans live within 50 miles of a coast. For that reason, that is where our efforts are currently focused. The main exception at this time is the Atlanta to Birmingham region. A well qualified husband/wife team in eastern Georgia is offering their abilities to advance our project in that region. Population in that area is in the millions so their efforts are welcomed.
It appears our best results will be achieved by establishing an A-Team of Regional Coordinators for the 20 Turns. Ideally, I would prefer to assemble this unit as a salaried staff of full time professionals but this is a grass roots effort less than 3 months old and that type of funding is not yet available. Sales of the printed version of the 20 Turns are providing all funding and so far it is covering all expenses.
If the current rate of growth is maintained there will soon be funds available for a series of rallies in key cities. The purpose of such events would be to increase public awareness and sales of the plan booklet. Rallies are a great method for attracting media attention and I am hoping that Regional Coordinators (RC’s) will function as spokesmen available as media contacts in their respective local markets.
We would provide Regional Coordinators with materials and media kits as needed. There would also be email accounts (sample@20turns.com)created that would be linked to the 20 Turns website so Coordinators would have a separate contact address that would be dedicated to this work.
Working as regionally based teams, successful strategies and events could be duplicated in other regions so that everyone may benefit from the skill and discoveries of other Regional Coordinators.
Additionally, by becoming an RC you can freely contact other Regional Coordinators regarding the project. This would ensure that all are comfortable in the ability to obtain project info from multiple sources.
While I am happy to always be available and active with all efforts I do not desire a system where I am the only source for all involved. I would prefer to be a central point where all involved may gather but I feel it is good policy for a method of communication to be available for all. This my best solution for an “open door” scenario among team members located in many geographical areas. We cannot all sit at a table but I want to be certain everyone involved is able to freely discuss ideas and issues with any other RC they care to and not be limited to contact only with myself.
The rate of growth in this work is exceeding my initial projections. The time is precisely right for this message. All of you receiving this message have demonstrated an understanding and abilities beyond the average voter on the street. This project is an opportunity for motivated patriots that desire to help this nation while using this framework to improve your individual situation. As the success of the project grows; the RC’s will share in that success. My goal is to nurture this into a formidable political watchdog that is understood and accepted by voters and financially capable of providing permanent full time positions to RC’s.
All of you together are a group that Congress does not want against them. If I were in Congress and you people united against me with the 20 Turns message I would be very uncomfortable. We are here to make a real difference in the future of this nation by taking our government away from a pattern of corrupt dealings by self centered leaders. We have the mood of the voting public on our side.
I want you here to help. If the idea of being a Regional Coordinator appeals to you please let me know. We can build this together and we can grow together. I hope to hear that you will seize this opportunity. We are going to get the attention of Congress and influence their behavior. This is our right as Americans and their actions have made it our duty. Please give this serious consideration.
Thank-you….Lynn
